Don’t be a sucka!

Get your money’s worth.

I'm a minimalist.

I have made it a personal rule to live only with what I absolutely adore. I don't own "stuff" or "what if" items. And, I believe in repeating outfits and looks. I simply don't care to wear what's "in style". I'm fully aware of what my personal taste is, and so I shop accordingly.

It’s said that women only wear 20% of their clothing.

Wow! That means that 80% of their wardrobe is just there...collecting dust. Don't be one of these women. You, by no means, have to be a minimalist. You, do, however, owe it to yourself to be true to your style.

Wear More, Own Less.

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I often wear a particular jacket, my leather moto jacket. I'm seriously infatuated with it. I'd sleep in it if I could!  It's just so versatile, effortless, and quality-made. That said, I wear it at least 2 times a week. I don't need numerous leather jackets. I have a great one that really works for me.

Wear More, Own Less.

I'm guessing that when you buy an item you absolutely love, you buy it because you want to wear it and show it off, right ? Duh!  Wear it often, then! Get your money's worth.

The way I see it is, if you buy something and don't wear it enough to remember it immediately when you think of your wardrobe, then that purchase was more than likely just money down the drain. Don't do this!

Wear More, Own Less.

The only ones who gain from brainwashing you into thinking you need a new wardrobe every season are retailers. Don't be a sucka!

Invest in great quality items that'll last every season. And, wear them WHENEVER YOU WANT. Don't be afraid to repeat outfits. Be afraid to be a walking, seasonal mannequin.

Wear More, Own Less.

Be a woman who shops less, but with more intention. When you're shopping, make it a habit to question if an item you're considering is one you'll wear often, AND if it's one that truly fits your lifestyle.

As much as I like party dresses, I wouldn't buy them regularly, simply because my party-like-a-rock-star days are behind me. I now invest with purpose - buying only items which suit my current lifestyle and crimes ;).

Wear More, Own Less.

No matter the size of your closet space, make sure that every single item you have in there truly reflects who you are. Don't be afraid to let go of something that no longer serves you.

Make room for something better, something more...YOU! Make every item you own your favorite item. By doing this, guess what? You'll wear more, and own less.
